Chinese (traditional)- What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- But I will sing of your strength,
in the morning I will sing of your love;
for you are my fortress,
my refuge in times of trouble. - My salvation and my honor depend on God;
he is my mighty rock, my refuge. - God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
- This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.
- And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
- For the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to him.
- Every word of God is flawless;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - The way of the Lord is a refuge for the blameless,
but it is the ruin of those who do evil. - No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
- Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.
- God is not human, that he should lie,
not a human being, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act?
Does he promise and not fulfill? - God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
- And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
- My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart
you, God, will not despise. - Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
- The Lord is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid? - For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
- The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
- For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
- “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”
- For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.
- When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone.
- Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
- The Lord your God is with you,
the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
but will rejoice over you with singing.
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
