- Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
- Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
- For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
- But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. - But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
- Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.
- Behold, God is mine helper:
the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. - Truly my soul waiteth upon God:
from him cometh my salvation. - No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
- Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand:
forget not the humble. - Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him. - And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.
- God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - God shall bless us;
and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. - I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart. - Blessed are the peacemakers:
for they shall be called the children of God. - There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
- Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
- Why art thou cast down, O my soul?
and why art thou disquieted within me?
hope thou in God:
for I shall yet praise him,
who is the health of my countenance, and my God. - Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
- O God, thou art my God;
early will I seek thee:
my soul thirsteth for thee,
my flesh longeth for thee
in a dry and thirsty land,
where no water is. - Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
- For thou, O God, hast proved us:
thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. - Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will toward men.But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.Next verse!With image
