- A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches,
and loving favour rather than silver and gold. - Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop:

- He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul:
he that keepeth understanding shall find good. - Good and upright is the Lord:
therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
The meek will he guide in judgment:
and the meek will he teach his way. - He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good;
and what doth the Lord require of thee,
but to do justly, and to love mercy,
and to walk humbly with thy God? - But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
- How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
- Behold that which I have seen: it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him: for it is his portion.
