- For he satisfieth the longing soul,
and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. - Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.
- For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. - And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
- Seek good, and not evil,
that ye may live:
and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you,
as ye have spoken. - A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches,
and loving favour rather than silver and gold. - And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
- Teach me to do thy will;
for thou art my God:
thy spirit is good;
lead me into the land of uprightness. - Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
- For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
- As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
- And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
- A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth:
and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! - Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop:
but a good word maketh it glad. - How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
- Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
- But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
- See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
- Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
- Good and upright is the Lord:
therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
The meek will he guide in judgment:
and the meek will he teach his way. - But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
- He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good;
and what doth the Lord require of thee,
but to do justly, and to love mercy,
and to walk humbly with thy God? - I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
- If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
- But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
