- And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
- Praise the Lord in song, for He has done glorious things;
Let this be known throughout the earth. - Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”
- And the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.”
- And if you say in your heart, ‘How will we recognize the word which the Lord has not spoken?’ When the prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, and the thing does not happen or come true, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you are not to be afraid of him.
- This also comes from the Lord of armies,
Who has made His counsel wonderful and His wisdom great. - Furthermore, as for every person to whom God has given riches and wealth, He has also given him the opportunity to enjoy them and to receive his reward and rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God.
- Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him for a thousand years.
- No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God remains in us, and His love is perfected in us.
- Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also.
- One who is slow to anger has great understanding;
But one who is quick-tempered exalts foolishness. - And we are witnesses of these things; and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him.
- Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.
- Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for the one who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the Law.
- So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
- Like a city that is broken into and without walls
So is a person who has no self-control over his spirit. - Beloved, let’s love one another; for love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
- So it shall be when he becomes guilty of one of these things, that he shall confess that in which he has sinned.
- For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer on His behalf.
- I will rejoice greatly in the Lord,
My soul will be joyful in my God;
For He has clothed me with garments of salvation,
He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness,
As a groom puts on a turban,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. - All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.
- Only fear the Lord and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.
- Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope set on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
- By this the love of God was revealed in us, that God has sent His only Son into the world so that we may live through Him.
- Go then, eat your bread in happiness, and drink your wine with a cheerful heart; for God has already approved your works.
