| Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him. | So you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God by walking in his ways and by fearing him. |

| As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. | This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. |
| Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. | Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! |
| As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. | This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. |
| Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name Jah, and rejoice before him.
