- Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper as his partner.”

- “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in him.” - God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
- The Lord redeems the life of his servants;
none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned. - Happy are those who keep his decrees,
who seek him with their whole heart. - O taste and see that the Lord is good;
happy are those who take refuge in him. - A gift opens doors;
it gives access to the great. - Beloved, we are God's children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is. And all who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
- While Peter was kept in prison, the church prayed fervently to God for him.
- Every word of God proves true;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and followed him on the way.
- What are human beings that you are mindful of them,
mortals that you care for them? - But to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God.

he protects those who take refuge in him. - For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have come to fullness in him, who is the head of every ruler and authority.
- As a father has compassion for his children,
so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him. - Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have boldness before God; and we receive from him whatever we ask, because we obey his commandments and do what pleases him.
- Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.”
Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, if another member of the church sins against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy-seven times.”When Jesus heard this, he replied, “Do not fear.
