- Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
- If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
- Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
- Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
- Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
- I cried unto him with my mouth,
and he was extolled with my tongue. - And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
- A man's gift maketh room for him,
and bringeth him before great men. - What is man, that thou art mindful of him?
and the son of man, that thou visitest him? - This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles. - Seek ye the Lord while he may be found,
call ye upon him while he is near. - To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
- This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
- He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
- Truly my soul waiteth upon God:
from him cometh my salvation. - And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
- God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
- My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him. - For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
- But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
- And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
- Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
- Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
- God shall bless us;
and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
and with my song will I praise him.
The Lord is my portion, saith my soul;
therefore will I hope in him.But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
