- Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
- If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
- Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
- Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
- Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
- I cried unto him with my mouth,
and he was extolled with my tongue. - And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
- A man's gift maketh room for him,
and bringeth him before great men. - Seek ye the Lord while he may be found,
call ye upon him while he is near. - What is man, that thou art mindful of him?
and the son of man, that thou visitest him? - To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
- This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles. - Truly my soul waiteth upon God:
from him cometh my salvation. - This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
- He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
- God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
- My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him. - And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
- But if from thence thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
- For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
- And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
- Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
- Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
- God shall bless us;
and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
and with my song will I praise him.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.Next verse!With image
