Your faithfulness, Lord, will support me. - The Lord is for me; I will not fear;
What can man do to me? - For I long to see you so that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be established; that is, that I may be encouraged together with you while among you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine.
- So you are to be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy; and I have singled you out from the peoples to be Mine.
- Who has performed and accomplished it,
Summoning the generations from the beginning?
‘I, the Lord, am the first, and with the last. I am He.’ - Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.
- For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.
- I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches. - I spread out my hands to You;
My soul longs for You, like a weary land. Selah - I have not come to call the righteous to repentance, but sinners.
- The one who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne.
- These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.
- Since you are precious in My sight,
Since you are honored and I love you,
I will give other people in your place and other nations in exchange for your life.
