Bible Verses about 'If anyone'
- If anyone wishes to serve me,
he must follow me.
Where I am,
there also will my servant be.
If anyone serves me,
my Father will honor that person. - If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person. For the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple.
- On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and cried out,
“If anyone is thirsty,
let him come to me and drink.” - Do not love the world
or what is in the world.
If anyone does love the world,
the love of the Father is not in him. - If anyone thinks that he is religious but does not restrain his tongue, he is deceiving himself, and his religion is worthless.

- Bear with one another, and forgive one another if anyone has reason to be offended with another. You must forgive just as the Lord has forgiven you.
- Consequently, anyone united to Christ is a new creation. The old order has passed away. Behold, all has become new.
- Can anyone withhold the water of baptism from these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?
- I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, says the Lord God. Repent and live!
- For all of us fall short in many ways. Anyone who never makes a mistake in speech has reached perfection and is able to control every part of his body.

Anyone who enters through me
will be saved.
He will go in and out
and will find pasture. - Brethren, if anyone is detected committing a transgression, you who are spiritual must set him right in a spirit of gentleness. Meanwhile, you should take care so that you yourselves are not tempted.
- Anyone who knows the right thing to do and fails to do it commits a sin.
- If anyone would boast, let him boast in the Lord. For it is not the one who commends himself who is really approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
- Then he said to all who were with him, “Anyone who wishes to follow me must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me.”
- And whenever you stand in prayer, forgive whatever grievance you have against anybody, so that your Father in heaven may forgive your wrongs too.
- For:
“If anyone wishes to love life
and to experience good days,
he must restrain his tongue from evil
and his lips from deceitful speech.
He must turn away from evil and do good,
seek peace and pursue it.” - He said to them in reply, “Anyone who has two coats must share with the person who has none, and whoever has food must do likewise.”
- So if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out there. If they say, ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For just as lightning comes from the east and is visible even in the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
- When anyone turns a deaf ear to the law,
even his prayer is detestable. - But as for you,
the anointing you received from him
remains in you,
and therefore you do not need anyone
to teach you.
This same anointing
teaches you everything
and is true and not false,
so abide in him just as he taught you. - Is anyone among you sick? He should send for the presbyters of the Church so that they may pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven.
- Therefore, we can say with confidence:
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not be afraid.
What can anyone do to me?” - Behold, I am standing at the door, knocking. If one of you hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with that person and that person with me.
- Owe nothing to anyone except the debt of love you owe one another. The one who loves others has fulfilled the Law.
- And whoever does not provide for relatives, especially for those who are living with him, has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
- God abides in anyone who acknowledges
that Jesus is the Son of God,
and that person abides in God. - Lying lips conceal hatred,
and anyone who slanders another is a fool. - Give to everyone who begs from you, and do not demand the return of what is yours from the one who has taken it.
- Do not let anyone lead you astray. “Bad company corrupts good morals.”
- And anyone who does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
- Welcome anyone whose faith is weak, but do not get into arguments about doubts.
- He then called the people and his disciples to him and said to them, “Anyone who wishes to follow me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”
- I am the living bread that came down from heaven.
Whoever eats this bread will live forever;
and the bread that I will give
is my flesh, for the life of the world. - Rather, revere Christ as Lord in your hearts.
Always be prepared to offer an explanation to anyone who asks you to justify the hope that is in you. However, do so with gentleness and respect. - Therefore, do not allow anyone to pass judgment on you in regard to what you eat or drink, or about the observance of Festivals, New Moons, or Sabbaths. These are only a shadow of what is to come. The reality is Christ.
- Do not withhold kindness from anyone to whom it is due
when it is in your power to grant it. - Whoever heeds admonition is on the path to life,
but anyone who rejects correction goes astray. - Can someone hide in a secret place
so that I cannot see him?
Do I not fill heaven and earth? - Make sure that no one pays back evil for evil. Rather, always aim to achieve what is best for each other and for everyone.
- While experiencing temptation, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
- Amen, amen, I say to you,
whoever receives the one I send
receives me,
and whoever receives me
receives the one who sent me. - Anyone who leads an honorable life walks in safety,
but whoever pursues wicked ways will be found out. - When someone sins and does any of the things that the Lord has forbidden, even if he does not realize he did it, he has still committed an offense and must bear his guilt.
- Jesus answered him,
“Whoever loves me will keep my word,
and my Father will love him,
and we will come to him
and make our abode with him.” - Indeed, it is seldom that anyone will die for a just person, although perhaps for a good person someone might be willing to die. Thus, God proved his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.
- You have heard that it was said of old: ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that anyone who looks with lust at a woman has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
