He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.Keep the commandments and keep your life; despising them leads to death.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber.
A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.A gossip goes around telling secrets, but those who are trustworthy can keep a confidence.

Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.
But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.But if wicked people turn away from all their sins and begin to obey my decrees and do what is just and right, they will surely live and not die.
Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive!
The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.
He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to him.
He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.People who accept discipline are on the pathway to life, but those who ignore correction will go astray.
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.
Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure.
He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.Those who control their tongue will have a long life; opening your mouth can ruin everything.
A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.Fools vent their anger, but the wise quietly hold it back.
If ye love me, keep my commandments.If you love me, obey my commandments.
Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God’s place in your hearts.
I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.I will hurry, without delay, to obey your commands.
Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.Then keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies!
Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.
Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.You must faithfully keep all my commands by putting them into practice, for I am the Lord.
Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.You must keep my Sabbath days of rest and show reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord.

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.
