- Lead me in your truth, and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all day long. - Like newborn infants, long for the pure, spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow into salvation.

for your name's sake lead me and guide me. - For I am longing to see you so that I may share with you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— or rather so that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.

- For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving,
abounding in steadfast love to all who call on you. - Arise, shine; for your light has come,

according to their work. - And those who know your name put their trust in you,
for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. - So I say to you, Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you.
- I will both lie down and sleep in peace;
for you alone, O Lord, make me lie down in safety. - For you need endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.
- You shall not make gods of silver alongside me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.
- Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
Let your good spirit lead me
on a level path. - Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved;
for you are my praise. - O God, you are my God, I seek you,
my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you,
as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. - For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.
- For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you should follow in his steps.
- Abba, Father, for you all things are possible; remove this cup from me; yet, not what I want, but what you want.
- And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, just as we abound in love for you.
- In the path of your judgments,
O Lord, we wait for you;
your name and your renown
are the soul's desire. - Because you are precious in my sight,
and honored, and I love you,
I give people in return for you,
nations in exchange for your life. - Only fear the Lord, and serve him faithfully with all your heart; for consider what great things he has done for you.
- But as for you, man of God, shun all this; pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.
- In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?
- Nevertheless, in your great mercies you did not make an end of them or forsake them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.
- And he did the same with the cup after supper, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.”
- Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
