- For when I kept silent, my bones wasted away
through my groaning all day long. - All day long he craves and craves,
but the righteous gives and does not hold back. - I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have being. - Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.
- Lead me in your truth and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all the day long. - Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation.
- My mouth is filled with your praise,
and with your glory all the day. - I love the Lord, because he has heard
my voice and my pleas for mercy.
Because he inclined his ear to me,
therefore I will call on him as long as I live. - For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.
- Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.
So I will bless you as long as I live;
in your name I will lift up my hands. - You shall walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may go well with you, and that you may live long in the land that you shall possess.
- I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live; also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is God's gift to man.
- O Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you; I will praise your name,
for you have done wonderful things,
plans formed of old, faithful and sure. - Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart, for God has already approved what you do.
- Therefore you shall keep his statutes and his commandments, which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land that the Lord your God is giving you for all time.
- My son, do not forget my teaching,
but let your heart keep my commandments,
for length of days and years of life
and peace they will add to you. - Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful.
- Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.
- O Lord, all my longing is before you;
my sighing is not hidden from you. - Say not, “Why were the former days better than these?”
For it is not from wisdom that you ask this. - Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
forever. - As a deer pants for flowing streams,
so pants my soul for you, O God. - For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.
- The reward for humility and fear of the Lord
is riches and honor and life. - Hear, my son, and accept my words,
that the years of your life may be many.
For the righteous will never be moved;
he will be remembered forever.Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory! Selah Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”Next verse!With image
