Bible Verses about 'Man’s'

A person's pride will bring humiliation, but one who is lowly in spirit will obtain honor.A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.
The human mind plans the way, but the Lord directs the steps.A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.
Our steps are made firm by the Lord, when he delights in our way.The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.
Just as water reflects the face, so one human heart reflects another. As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man.
A gift opens doors; it gives access to the great.A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.
For just as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Wealth is a ransom for a person's life, but the poor get no threats. The ransom of a man's life are his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke.
The human mind may devise many plans, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will be established. There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.
The wealth of the rich is their strong city; in their imagination it is like a high wall. The rich man's wealth is his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit.
Words spoken by the wise bring them favor, but the lips of fools consume them. The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself.
Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude you, revile you, and defame you on account of the Son of Man.Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
All deeds are right in the sight of the doer, but the Lord weighs the heart.Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts.
Anxiety weighs down the human heart, but a good word cheers it up.Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.
What is desirable in a person is loyalty, and it is better to be poor than a liar. The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar.
Look at the proud! Their spirit is not right in them, but the righteous live by their faith.Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God, and keep his commandments; for that is the whole duty of everyone.Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from one person's envy of another. This also is vanity and a chasing after wind.Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This is also vanity and vexation of spirit.
And he said to them, “Take care! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; for one's life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.”And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
If any think they are religious, and do not bridle their tongues but deceive their hearts, their religion is worthless. If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died through the one man's trespass, much more surely have the grace of God and the free gift in the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abounded for the many. But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
I know that there is nothing better for them than to be happy and enjoy themselves as long as they live; moreover, it is God's gift that all should eat and drink and take pleasure in all their toil.I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
For the Son of Man came to seek out and to save the lost. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. Then the man said, “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; this one shall be called Woman, for out of Man this one was taken.” Therefore a man leaves his father and his mother and clings to his wife, and they become one flesh. And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
For the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many. For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Just as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
