Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. | Why are you in despair, my soul? I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. | I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth. |
My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. | My son, don’t forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, for they will add to you length of days, years of life, and peace. |

The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. | Yahweh, the Lord, is my strength. He makes my feet like deer’s feet, and enables me to go in high places. |
Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart. | I have taken your testimonies as a heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart. |
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. | He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.” |
