What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.What then? Are we to sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Far from it!
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You, Lord, have not abandoned those who seek You.
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not become bitter against them.
Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.Not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.The one who overcomes will be clothed the same way, in white garments; and I will not erase his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.And those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame.”
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to rein in the whole body as well.
The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us.May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers; may He not leave us nor forsake us.
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? Far from it! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? Far from it! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or in dread of them, for the Lord your God is the One who is going with you. He will not desert you or abandon you.
But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.But let justice roll out like waters, And righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.
For with God nothing shall be impossible.For nothing will be impossible with God.
Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.Acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding! Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth.
I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.I have set the Lord continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
The ransom of a man's life are his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke.The ransom of a person’s life is his wealth, But the poor hears no rebuke.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary.
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose trust is the Lord. For he will be like a tree planted by the water That extends its roots by a stream, And does not fear when the heat comes; But its leaves will be green, And it will not be anxious in a year of drought, Nor cease to yield fruit.
Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and a good reputation In the sight of God and man.
The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, And the Lord will by no means leave the guilty unpunished. In the gale and the storm is His way, And clouds are the dust beneath His feet.
For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.“For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, But My favor will not be removed from you, Nor will My covenant of peace be shaken,” Says the Lord who has compassion on you.
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is unsearchable.
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.No one is to say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone.

And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.And the Lord is the One who is going ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not desert you or abandon you. Do not fear and do not be dismayed.
