- I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart;
I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. - Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
- O come, let us worship and bow down:
let us kneel before the Lord our maker. - I will extol thee, my God, O king;
and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. - For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive;
and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. - O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him. - Why art thou cast down, O my soul?
and why art thou disquieted within me?
hope thou in God:
for I shall yet praise him,
who is the health of my countenance, and my God. - And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:
for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. - O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever. - O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name:
make known his deeds among the people. - I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. - O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. - But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
- Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings;
and the years of thy life shall be many. - Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. - With my whole heart have I sought thee:
O let me not wander from thy commandments. - O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
- Salvation belongeth unto the Lord:
thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. - My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him. - But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
- For thou wilt light my candle:
the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. - O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
- Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord;
and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you:
for I am merciful, saith the Lord,
and I will not keep anger for ever. - Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.
- Oh how great is thy goodness,
which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee;
which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee
before the sons of men!
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee.And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Although the fig tree shall not blossom,
neither shall fruit be in the vines;
the labour of the olive shall fail,
and the fields shall yield no meat;
the flock shall be cut off from the fold,
and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.Next verse!With image
