Bible Verses about 'Others'

So we must not fall asleep as the others do, but we must stay alert and sober. So then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober.
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vanity, but humbly regard others as better than yourselves.Doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself.
But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Rather, I discipline my body and bring it under control, for fear that after preaching to others I myself may be disqualified. But I beat my body and bring it into submission, lest by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be disqualified.
In everything, deal with others as you would like them to deal with you. This is the Law and the Prophets. Therefore, whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.
If you forgive others for the wrongs they have done, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
A generous person will be enriched; he who refreshes others will also be refreshed. The liberal soul shall be made fat. He who waters shall be watered also himself.
Therefore, you have no excuse, whoever you may be, when you pass judgment on others. For in judging others you condemn yourself, since you are doing the same things. Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.
The fear of others will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is secure. The fear of man proves to be a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Yahweh is kept safe.
Love one another with genuine affection. Esteem others more highly than yourself. In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor prefer one another.
Owe nothing to anyone except the debt of love you owe one another. The one who loves others has fulfilled the Law.Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
Whenever you fast, do not assume a gloomy expression like the hypocrites who contort their faces so that others may realize that they are fasting. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. Moreover when you fast, don’t be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward.
Therefore, whoever breaks even one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be considered least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever observes these commandments and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever shall break one of these least commandments and teach others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Therefore, whenever you give alms, do not trumpet your generosity, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets in order to win the praise of others. Amen, I say to you, they have already received their reward. Therefore, when you do merciful deeds, don’t sound a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may get glory from men. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward.
He was despised and shunned by others, a man of sorrows who was no stranger to suffering. We loathed him and regarded him as of no account, as one from whom men avert their gaze.He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering and acquainted with disease. He was despised as one from whom men hide their face; and we didn’t respect him.
Whoever heeds admonition is on the path to life, but anyone who rejects correction goes astray. He is in the way of life who heeds correction, but he who forsakes reproof leads others astray.
But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that the fact that you are fasting will not be obvious to others but only to your Father who is hidden. And your Father who sees everything that is done in secret will reward you.But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.
Live in harmony with one another. Do not consider yourself to be better than others, but associate with the lowly, and never be conceited.Be of the same mind one toward another. Don’t set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don’t be wise in your own conceits.
Yet even if you should suffer for doing what is right, you are thereby blessed. Have no fear of others, and refuse to be intimidated by them. But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “Don’t fear what they fear, neither be troubled.”
Nor would someone light a lamp and then put it under a basket; rather, it is placed upon a lampstand so that it may afford light to all in the house. In the same way, your light must shine so that it can be seen by others; this will enable them to observe your good works and give praise to your Father in heaven.Neither do you light a lamp and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. Even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
No one should seek his own advantage in preference to that of his neighbor.Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor’s good.
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. The measure that you use for others will be used to measure you.Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you.
Whatever you do, do it wholeheartedly, as if you were doing it for the Lord and not for others, since you know that you will receive from the Lord an inheritance as your reward for you are serving the Lord Christ. And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercy and the God of all consolation. He consoles us in all our afflictions and thereby enables us to console others in their tribulations, offering them the consolation with which we ourselves are consoled by God.Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
Let no foul word ever pass your lips. Say only what is useful for edification, so that your words may benefit your listeners.Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.

The Lord makes poor and makes rich, he humbles and he also exalts.Yahweh makes poor and makes rich. He brings low, he also lifts up.

In my anguish I cried out to the Lord
and called to my God for help.
From his temple he heard my voice,
and my cry to him reached his ears.
