By guarding it according to your word. - Be careful then how you live, not as unwise people but as wise, making the most of the time, because the days are evil.
- You shall not hate in your heart anyone of your kin; you shall reprove your neighbor, or you will incur guilt yourself. You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against any of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
- Therefore I tell you, people will be forgiven for every sin and blasphemy, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
- Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended upon him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, “You are my Son, the Beloved; with you I am well pleased.”
- God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God.
- For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
- Who is it that conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
- Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
- Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what such people do secretly.
- So we have known and believe the love that God has for us.
God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. - “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.
- And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,
“See, the home of God is among mortals.
He will dwell with them as their God;
they will be his peoples,
and God himself will be with them;
he will wipe every tear from their eyes.
Death will be no more;
mourning and crying and pain will be no more,
for the first things have passed away.” - And those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
