- Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance.
- Honour the Lord with thy substance,
and with the firstfruits of all thine increase. - Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
- And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope.
- For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
- Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
- If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
- A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
- Although the fig tree shall not blossom,
neither shall fruit be in the vines;
the labour of the olive shall fail,
and the fields shall yield no meat;
the flock shall be cut off from the fold,
and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation. - Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
- I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
- The wicked worketh a deceitful work:
but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. - For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.
- I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
- For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
- Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
- And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
- Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.
- But godliness with contentment is great gain.
- Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. - For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
- Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
- So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:
it shall not return unto me void,
but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
- For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.
