- Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust. - But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

they labour in vain that build it:

the watchman waketh but in vain. - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;

my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. - For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

- And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house.
- Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.Next verse!With image
