- Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust. - But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

they labour in vain that build it:
except the Lord keep the city,
the watchman waketh but in vain. - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;

my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. - For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

- And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house.
- Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.Next verse!With image
