- Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust. - But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.

they labour in vain that build it:
except the Lord keep the city,
the watchman waketh but in vain. - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
- I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. - For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

is better than the riches of many wicked.

- And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house.
- Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.Next verse!With image
