Proverbs 31:25–26 (6/6)

Do not forsake your friend or a friend of your family, and do not go to your relative’s house when disaster strikes you— better a neighbor nearby than a relative far away.Do not forsake your friend or the friend of your parent; do not go to the house of your kindred in the day of your calamity. Better is a neighbor who is nearby than kindred who are far away.
The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.The clever see danger and hide; but the simple go on, and suffer for it.
As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.Iron sharpens iron, and one person sharpens the wits of another.

Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread.Remove far from me falsehood and lying; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that I need.
