- I have set the Lord always before me;
because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. - For I, the Lord your God,

and all his work is done in faithfulness. - So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.
- The hand of the diligent will rule,
while the slothful will be put to forced labor. - O you who love the Lord, hate evil!
He preserves the lives of his saints;
he delivers them from the hand of the wicked. - You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am.
- Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand.
- And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your hand. Only against him do not stretch out your hand.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.

and teaches the humble his way. - You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out from there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the Lord your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.
- If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, your healer.

nor takes up a reproach against his friend. - Wake up from your drunken stupor, as is right, and do not go on sinning. For some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
