- I keep the Lord always before me,
for with him at my right hand

- Yet even if you should suffer for doing what is right, you are thereby blessed. Have no fear of others, and refuse to be intimidated by them.
- Let your kindness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.
- Let us never grow weary in doing what is right, for if we do not give up, we will reap our harvest in due time.

and led you along the paths of righteousness. - The one who leads a blameless life
and does what is right,
who speaks the truth from the heart
and does not slander anyone,
who does not harm a friend
and does not scorn a neighbor. - Let your eyes look straight ahead;
fix your gaze on what lies before you. - You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’
and rightly so,
for that is what I am. - Seek the Lord while he still may be found;
call to him when he is close at hand.
