- And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
- But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
- Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
- So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul:
when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward,
and thy expectation shall not be cut off. - For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
- For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
- Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
- I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
- For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

- A fool's wrath is presently known:
but a prudent man covereth shame. - For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
- And even to your old age I am he;
and even to hoar hairs will I carry you:
I have made, and I will bear;
even I will carry, and will deliver you. - And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.
- He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.
- Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
- Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
- One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
- For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
