for in you I trust.
Make me know the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul. - The vexation of a fool is known at once,
but the prudent ignores an insult. - Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you,
and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
blessed are all those who wait for him. - Teach me to do your will,

Let your good Spirit lead me

Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,

your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. - For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
- And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”

rescue me from the hand of my enemies
and from my persecutors! - In the path of your judgments,
O Lord, we wait for you;
your name and remembrance
are the desire of our soul. - If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.
- I will never forget your precepts,
for by them you have given me life. - But I am the Lord your God
from the land of Egypt;
you know no God but me,
and besides me there is no savior. - My soul thirsts for God,
