Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Shows'
- Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
- A fool despiseth his father's instruction:
but he that regardeth reproof is prudent. - He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding:
but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly. - Like as a father pitieth his children,
so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. - The heavens declare the glory of God;
and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
Day unto day uttereth speech,
and night unto night sheweth knowledge. - The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again:
but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. - A fool's wrath is presently known:
but a prudent man covereth shame. - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
- He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul;
but he that despiseth his ways shall die. - He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction:
but he that refuseth reproof erreth. - Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
- But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
- But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
- So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
- Good and upright is the Lord:
therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
The meek will he guide in judgment:
and the meek will he teach his way. - He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
- There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
- For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
- But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
- Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
- Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
- And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.
- My doctrine shall drop as the rain,
my speech shall distil as the dew,
as the small rain upon the tender herb,
and as the showers upon the grass.
A fool despiseth his father's instruction:
but he that regardeth reproof is prudent. Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.Next verse!With image
