- Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:
bind them about thy neck;
write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding
in the sight of God and man. - And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
- Many are the afflictions of the righteous:
but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. - He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
- For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
- Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
- Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
- Great peace have they which love thy law:
and nothing shall offend them. - And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
- He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. - They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
- And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
- And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
- And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
- Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
- And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
- So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
- And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
- The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth,
and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart;
and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. - Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude. And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets.
- Ye that love the Lord, hate evil:
he preserveth the souls of his saints;
he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. - The face of the Lord is against them that do evil,
to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. - Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
- Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
- O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.Who is this King of glory?
