- Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.

Make known his praise around the world. - And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.
- After supper he took another cup of wine and said, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood, which is poured out as a sacrifice for you.”
- Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
- For I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance.
- Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.

- This is a trustworthy saying:
If we die with him,
we will also live with him. - Pray like this:
Our Father in heaven,
may your name be kept holy.
May your Kingdom come soon.
May your will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven. - There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
- God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.
- Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.”
- In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened;
he saved me from all my troubles. - The Lord of Heaven’s Armies is a wonderful teacher,
and he gives the farmer great wisdom. - Stop deceiving yourselves. If you think you are wise by this world’s standards, you need to become a fool to be truly wise.
- When Jesus heard this, he said, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do.”
- Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.
- This is what I told them: ‘Obey me, and I will be your God, and you will be my people. Do everything as I say, and all will be well!’
