Chinese (traditional)- In the path of your judgments,
O Lord, we wait for you;
your name and your renown
are the soul's desire. - Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and followed him on the way.
- Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. - But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that your fasting may be seen not by others but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
- You shall worship the Lord your God, and I will bless your bread and your water; and I will take sickness away from among you.
- Turn my heart to your decrees,
and not to selfish gain. - Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
I fear no evil;
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff—
they comfort me. - But I trusted in your steadfast love;
my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
because he has dealt bountifully with me. - We have sinned and done wrong, acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and ordinances.
- May he grant you your heart's desire,
and fulfill all your plans. - But I will sing of your might;
I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning.
For you have been a fortress for me
and a refuge in the day of my distress. - Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not rely on your own insight.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths. - Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.
So I will bless you as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands and call on your name. - I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
I set your ordinances before me. - O Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you, I will praise your name;
for you have done wonderful things,
plans formed of old, faithful and sure. - Know that wisdom is such to your soul;
if you find it, you will find a future,
and your hope will not be cut off. - I treasure your word in my heart,
so that I may not sin against you. - Turn back, and say to Hezekiah prince of my people, Thus says the Lord, the God of your ancestor David: I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; indeed, I will heal you; on the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.
- When the cares of my heart are many,
your consolations cheer my soul. - I will never forget your precepts,
for by them you have given me life. - Do not swerve to the right or to the left;
turn your foot away from evil. - I delight in the way of your decrees
as much as in all riches. - Remember your creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come, and the years draw near when you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”.
- Great peace have those who love your law;
nothing can make them stumble. - Keep your heart with all vigilance,
for from it flow the springs of life.
If another member of the church sins against you, go and point out the fault when the two of you are alone. If the member listens to you, you have regained that one.Bear one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my thoughts.
See if there is any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.Next verse!With image
