- For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who in every respect has been tested as we are, yet without sin.
- For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. We know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be destroyed, and we might no longer be enslaved to sin.
- If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit.
- Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another.
- But if we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
- For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another.
- Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. - Save us, we beseech you, O Lord!
O Lord, we beseech you, give us success!
Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord.
We bless you from the house of the Lord. - We have sinned and done wrong, acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and ordinances.
- So teach us to count our days
that we may gain a wise heart. - But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to make this freewill offering? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you.
- Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words.
- So we fasted and petitioned our God for this, and he listened to our entreaty.
- Restore us, O Lord God of hosts;
let your face shine, that we may be saved. - For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
- It is that very Spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
- For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.
- Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.
- For we are God's servants, working together; you are God's field, God's building.
- What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
- No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
- For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.
- If we diligently observe this entire commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, we will be in the right.
- For this is the message you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
- We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is justified not by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ. And we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by doing the works of the law, because no one will be justified by the works of the law.
So we can say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not be afraid.
What can anyone do to me?”Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah I lift up my eyes to the hills—
from where will my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth.Next verse!With image
