- Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
- Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name. - God shall bless us;
and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. - Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
- For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous;
with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. - I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. - The Lord will give strength unto his people;
the Lord will bless his people with peace. - I will extol thee, my God, O king;
and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. - But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
- Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
- And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
- But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
- Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
- The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. - Because thy lovingkindness is better than life,
my lips shall praise thee.
Thus will I bless thee while I live:
I will lift up my hands in thy name. - But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
- Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
- The liberal soul shall be made fat:
and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. - In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
- Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord:
O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord. - For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction:
but he that refuseth reproof erreth. - But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.
- Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
- For the Lord thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.
The fear of man bringeth a snare:
but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
