- Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
- They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
- And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
- But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
- And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
- And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
- Hatred stirreth up strifes:
but love covereth all sins. - And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
- Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
- Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
- Sing unto God, sing praises to his name:
extol him that rideth upon the heavens
by his name Jah, and rejoice before him.
A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows,
is God in his holy habitation. - And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
- He healeth the broken in heart,
and bindeth up their wounds. - When I said, My foot slippeth;
thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. - And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
- But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
- And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
- A soft answer turneth away wrath:
but grievous words stir up anger. - Thy word have I hid in mine heart,
that I might not sin against thee. - And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
- Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
- Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
- For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,
saith the Lord. - While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.
