- If you forgive others for the wrongs they have done, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
- All you need to do is to say ‘Yes’ if you mean ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ if you mean ‘No.’ Anything beyond this comes from the evil one.
- Above his head was inscribed the charge against him: “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”
- Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.
- Therefore, you must also be prepared, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

- Stay awake and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit is indeed willing, but the flesh is weak.

- In the same way, the Son of Man did not come to be served but rather to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.
- Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. You received without payment; give in the same way.
- Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill them.
