Never (2/4)

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not!
And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting for those who belong to the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and never treat them harshly.
Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. All who are victorious will be clothed in white. I will never erase their names from the Book of Life, but I will announce before my Father and his angels that they are mine.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.
For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way.
The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us.May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us or abandon us.
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.Well then, am I suggesting that the law of God is sinful? Of course not! In fact, it was the law that showed me my sin. I would never have known that coveting is wrong if the law had not said, “You must not covet.”
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.
But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.Instead, I want to see a mighty flood of justice, an endless river of righteous living.
For with God nothing shall be impossible. For the word of God will never fail.
Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.Get wisdom; develop good judgment. Don’t forget my words or turn away from them.
I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.
The ransom of a man's life are his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke. The rich can pay a ransom for their lives, but the poor won’t even get threatened.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.
Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation.
The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. The Lord is slow to get angry, but his power is great, and he never lets the guilty go unpunished. He displays his power in the whirlwind and the storm. The billowing clouds are the dust beneath his feet.
For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.“For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you.
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding.
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else.

And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.
