- In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. - If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
- Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart,
O God, thou wilt not despise. - Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.
- No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- Blessed are the pure in heart:
for they shall see God. - And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
- So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
- For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
- And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
- Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
- Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
- So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
- Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
- But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. - Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
- But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
- Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.
- Truly my soul waiteth upon God:
from him cometh my salvation. - Behold, God is mine helper:
the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. - Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.
- Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand:
forget not the humble. - My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him.
God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. But let judgment run down as waters,
and righteousness as a mighty stream. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.Next verse! With image
