- Therefore I will look unto the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation:
my God will hear me. - If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
- Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart,
O God, thou wilt not despise. - No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- Blessed are the pure in heart:
for they shall see God. - And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
- So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
- Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.
- And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
- So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
- Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
- Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.
- Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
- Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
- For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
- But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. - But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
- Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.
- Behold, God is mine helper:
the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. - Truly my soul waiteth upon God:
from him cometh my salvation. - No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
- Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand:
forget not the humble. - Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him.
And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope.Next verse!With image
