- How great is Your goodness,
Which You have stored up for those who fear You,
Which You have performed for those who take refuge in You,
Before the sons of mankind! - In God, whose word I praise,
In God I have put my trust;
I shall not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? - Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
- And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.
- It is better to take refuge in the Lord
Than to trust in people. - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart triumphs,
And with my song I shall thank Him. - Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.
- The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace,
Because he trusts in You. - And those who know Your name will put their trust in You,
For You, Lord, have not abandoned those who seek You. - Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.
- But if we hope for what we do not see, through perseverance we wait eagerly for it.
- Protect me, God, for I take refuge in You.
- Not that I speak from need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.
- But I have trusted in Your faithfulness;
My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
Because He has looked after me. - If an army encamps against me,
My heart will not fear;
If war arises against me,
In spite of this I am confident. - And He said to them, “Because of your meager faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
- Let Your favor, Lord, be upon us,
Just as we have waited for You. - It does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; it keeps every confidence, it believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
- The steps of a man are established by the Lord,
And He delights in his way. - “For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake,
But My favor will not be removed from you,
Nor will My covenant of peace be shaken,”
Says the Lord who has compassion on you. - Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted to him.
- He alone is my rock and my salvation,
My refuge; I will not be shaken. - I certainly believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living. - Do not envy a violent person,
And do not choose any of his ways.
For the devious are an abomination to the Lord;
But He is intimate with the upright. - Now, little children, remain in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not draw back from Him in shame at His coming.
For we have become partakers of Christ if we keep the beginning of our commitment firm until the end.A prudent person sees evil and hides himself;
But the naive proceed, and pay the penalty.
