- Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.
- I cried out to him with my mouth;
his praise was on my tongue. - Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
- Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom. - Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!”
- I will extol the Lord at all times;
his praise will always be on my lips. - Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.
- I love the Lord, for he heard my voice;
he heard my cry for mercy.
Because he turned his ear to me,
I will call on him as long as I live. - But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
I will sing the Lord’s praise,
for he has been good to me. - The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge. - Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
- Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
- Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory. - I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. - Not to us, Lord, not to us
but to your name be the glory,
because of your love and faithfulness. - Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
- I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
I will sing of you among the peoples. - Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior,
who daily bears our burdens. - My lips will shout for joy
when I sing praise to you—
I whom you have delivered. - So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
- I will exalt you, my God the King;
I will praise your name for ever and ever. - Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you. - Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory be over all the earth. - By day the Lord directs his love,
at night his song is with me—
a prayer to the God of my life.
Since you are my rock and my fortress,
for the sake of your name lead and guide me.In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.
