But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee. I cried unto him with my mouth,
and he was extolled with my tongue. But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Thou art my hiding place and my shield:
I hope in thy word. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. Every way of a man is right in his own eyes:
but the Lord pondereth the hearts. Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him:
fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,
because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. The entrance of thy words giveth light;
it giveth understanding unto the simple. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. In the multitude of my thoughts within me
thy comforts delight my soul. He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. He is despised and rejected of men;
a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:
and we hid as it were our faces from him;
he was despised, and we esteemed him not. But he was wounded for our transgressions,
he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him;
and with his stripes we are healed. In God I will praise his word,
in God I have put my trust;
I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. For the Lord is our judge,
the Lord is our lawgiver,
the Lord is our king;
he will save us. Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah. Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous.Next verse!With image
