Chinese (traditional)Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer. Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the Lord guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. Open your mouth, judge righteously,
And plead the cause of the poor and needy. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly. Depart from evil and do good;
Seek peace and pursue it. To him who is afflicted, kindness should be shown by his friend,
Even though he forsakes the fear of the Almighty. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
And His greatness is unsearchable. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness. Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. Our help is in the name of the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression,
But a good word makes it glad. Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint. Whom have I in heaven but You?
And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. Whoever has no rule over his own spirit
Is like a city broken down, without walls. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. The Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you. God shall bless us,
And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him. “Now, therefore,” says the Lord,
“Turn to Me with all your heart,
With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
