Chinese (traditional)Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord! Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. Better is a little with the fear of the Lord
than great treasure and trouble with it. And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying,
“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!” Let all that you do be done in love. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof,
the world and those who dwell therein. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved,
for you are my praise. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. O God, you are my God;
earnestly I seek you;
my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you,
as in a dry and weary land
where there is no water. Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. That is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Surely he has borne our griefs
and carried our sorrows;
yet we esteemed him stricken,
smitten by God, and afflicted. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. I acknowledged my sin to you,
and I did not cover my iniquity;
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ. He will again have compassion on us;
he will tread our iniquities underfoot.
You will cast all our sins
into the depths of the sea. Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent. It is well with the man who deals generously and lends;
who conducts his affairs with justice. But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Know then in your heart that, as a man disciplines his son, the Lord your God disciplines you. Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil,
but those who plan peace have joy.
