Chinese (traditional)And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising,
thou understandest my thought afar off. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high,
and the wilderness be a fruitful field,
and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Let us search and try our ways,
and turn again to the Lord. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name:
make known his deeds among the people. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits,
even the God of our salvation. Selah. One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. Lying lips are abomination to the Lord:
but they that deal truly are his delight. As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. Good and upright is the Lord:
therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
The meek will he guide in judgment:
and the meek will he teach his way. Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Have mercy upon me, O God,
according to thy lovingkindness:
according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies
blot out my transgressions.
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin. Take with you words, and turn to the Lord: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. O Lord, thou art my God;
I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name;
for thou hast done wonderful things;
thy counsels of old
are faithfulness and truth.Next verse!With image
