As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? He that walketh with wise men shall be wise:
but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Make thy face to shine upon thy servant:
save me for thy mercies' sake. For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. Happy is the man that findeth wisdom,
and the man that getteth understanding. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. My flesh and my heart faileth:
but God is the strength of my heart,
and my portion for ever. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment,
and equity; yea, every good path. Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord,
that delighteth greatly in his commandments. Seek good, and not evil,
that ye may live:
and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you,
as ye have spoken. Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. Envy thou not the oppressor,
and choose none of his ways.
For the froward is abomination to the Lord:
but his secret is with the righteous. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Salvation belongeth unto the Lord:
thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. A man's pride shall bring him low:
but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit. Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world,
even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved. With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.Next verse! With image
