- They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”
- About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.
- Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
- For this is what the Lord has commanded us:
“I have made you a light for the Gentiles,
that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” - Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.
- Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
- And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
- They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
- And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.
- But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.Next verse! With image
