- They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”
- About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.
- Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.
- For this is what the Lord has commanded us:
“I have made you a light for the Gentiles,
that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” - Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
- Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
- And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
- They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
- But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
- In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.Next verse! With image
