Chinese (traditional)- Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
- Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. - As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
- I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
- Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
- And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
- Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
- Seek the Lord, and his strength:
seek his face evermore. - Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.
- The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever:
forsake not the works of thine own hands. - One thing have I desired of the Lord,
that will I seek after;
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the Lord,
and to enquire in his temple. - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
- This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts,
which is wonderful in counsel,
and excellent in working. - Except the Lord build the house,
they labour in vain that build it:
except the Lord keep the city,
the watchman waketh but in vain. - While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
- Who hath wrought and done it,
calling the generations from the beginning?
I the Lord, the first,
and with the last; I am he. - And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
- But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
- God shall bless us;
and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. - The name of the Lord is a strong tower:
the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
Be still, and know that I am God:
I will be exalted among the heathen,
I will be exalted in the earth.Remove far from me vanity and lies:
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with food convenient for me. Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.Next verse!With image
