| You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people. | But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. |
| And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us. | Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. |

| Before the mountains were born, before you gave birth to the earth and the world, from beginning to end, you are God. | Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. |
| The name of the Lord is a strong fortress; the godly run to him and are safe. | The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. |
| And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth. | And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. |
| Yes, God will bless us, and people all over the world will fear him. | God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. |
| You must faithfully keep all my commands by putting them into practice, for I am the Lord. | Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord. |
| For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock? | For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock save our God? |
| Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways! | O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! |
| Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing. | The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. |
| This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. | This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. |

| For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children. | The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. |
| But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. | Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy. |
| And every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. | And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. |
| Those who obey God’s commandments remain in fellowship with him, and he with them. And we know he lives in us because the Spirit he gave us lives in us. | And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. |
| But Lord, you remain the same forever! Your throne continues from generation to generation. | Thou, O Lord, remainest for ever; thy throne from generation to generation. |
| God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? | God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? |
| Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. | Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. |
| So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. | So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. |
| “Can anyone hide from me in a secret place? Am I not everywhere in all the heavens and earth?” says the Lord. | Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord. |
| What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance. | Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. |
| But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets. | But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. |
