Grace (2/2)

  • But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
  • Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
  • He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
    but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
  • The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
  • What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
  • The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
  • Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • What is man, that thou art mindful of him?
    and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
  • I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
  • For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
  • Nevertheless for thy great mercies' sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God.
  • For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
  • For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.
  • And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
  • Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
  • Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
  • Let the wicked forsake his way,
    and the unrighteous man his thoughts:
    and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him;
    and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
  • Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord;
    and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you:
    for I am merciful, saith the Lord,
    and I will not keep anger for ever.
  • And rend your heart,
    and not your garments,
    and turn unto the Lord your God:
    for he is gracious and merciful,
    slow to anger, and of great kindness,
    and repenteth him of the evil.
  • Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
  • And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
  • And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

Bible verse of the day

Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
