The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.The wise in heart will receive commands, But a prating fool will fall.
Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.Incline my heart to Your testimonies, And not to covetousness.
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.
I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God.I am the Lord your God: Walk in My statutes, keep My judgments, and do them; hallow My Sabbaths, and they will be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am the Lord your God.
And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.And I will walk at liberty, For I seek Your precepts.
The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever.
The way of the Lord is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.The way of the Lord is strength for the upright, But destruction will come to the workers of iniquity.
Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.Therefore you shall keep My commandments, and perform them: I am the Lord.
And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.Then the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the law and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them.”
Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever, For they are the rejoicing of my heart.
My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands; For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you.
He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul, But he who is careless of his ways will die.
Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.I made haste, and did not delay To keep Your commandments.
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference.But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference.
The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.If a person sins, and commits any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord, though he does not know it, yet he is guilty and shall bear his iniquity.
