Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh.
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”
This is what the Lord says to Israel: “Seek me and live.”For Yahweh says to the house of Israel: “Seek me, and you will live.”
For this is what the high and exalted One says— he who lives forever, whose name is holy: “I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.”For the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy, says: “I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.”
Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.Don’t be anxious for your life, what you will eat, nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.The earth is Yahweh’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell in it.
The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants. None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned.
Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.Teach me your way, Yahweh. I will walk in your truth. Make my heart undivided to fear your name.
Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. This is the end of the matter. All has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.
You are to be holy to me because I, the Lord, am holy, and I have set you apart from the nations to be my own.You shall be holy to me, for I, Yahweh, am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, that you should be mine.
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to save many people alive, as is happening today.
I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. But I am hard pressed between the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Yet to remain in the flesh is more needful for your sake.
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. All things were made through him. Without him, nothing was made that has been made.
Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord.Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to Yahweh’s law.
He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.Of his own will he gave birth to us by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. For the love of Christ compels us; because we judge thus: that one died for all, therefore all died. He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again.
We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence firm to the end.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.Therefore let’s also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with perseverance the race that is set before us.
For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake will save it.

But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”But just as he who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all of your behavior, because it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”
