- God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - And even to your old age I am he;
and even to hoar hairs will I carry you:
I have made, and I will bear;
even I will carry, and will deliver you. - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
- For the Lord loveth judgment,
and forsaketh not his saints;
they are preserved for ever:
but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. - For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
- The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.
- And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
- Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
- And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:
for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. - Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
- But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.
- For the word of the Lord is right;
and all his works are done in truth. - For thy mercy is great unto the heavens,
and thy truth unto the clouds. - In all labour there is profit:
but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury. - When I said, My foot slippeth;
thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. - For the mountains shall depart,
and the hills be removed;
but my kindness shall not depart from thee,
neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed,
saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. - Ye that love the Lord, hate evil:
he preserveth the souls of his saints;
he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. - He is the Rock, his work is perfect:
for all his ways are judgment:
a God of truth and without iniquity,
just and right is he. - Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord God.
- Let thine eyes look right on,
and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. - He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. - The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:
but the word of our God shall stand for ever. - Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord:
let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. - For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? - The Lord is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works.
Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee.Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.Next verse!With image
